John Zanzano, PE, ATD

John has over 36 years of engineering experience and has been with the EYP team for 25 years. He has been part of the EYP Mission Critical Facilities team since its inception in 2001. John is a registered professional mechanical engineer, an Accredited Tier Designer as acknowledged by the Uptime Institute, and an ASHRAE member since 1989.
John has led the EYP MCF team in many roles from engineering to operations management. As part of the engineering team, John has led many of the prestigious EYP MCF mission critical greenfield projects, with a square footage totaling over 5 million sq ft. John has also applied many new industry engineering applications for building infrastructure to many of the projects he has led, always trying to stay ahead of the latest industry trends. In addition to greenfield projects, John has a special interest in rehabilitation projects and has led many projects where building infrastructure or as John calls it “open heart surgery” was performed within live facilities without any interruption.
John has held the role of managing principal for the last 15 years. In this role he is responsible for day to day operations, staffing, and P&L, while also still keeping an active eye on the engineering.
Over his career John has been part of many successful projects, providing world class mission critical solutions for some of the most notable clients in the financial, telecommunications, technology and government agencies.
